All models created by developers or employees within Blue Helm Studios are considered the intellectual property of the company. Once a model is completed, ownership is officially transferred to Blue Helm Studios, regardless of who initially designed or built it.
This transfer means that employees and contributors may not reuse, redistribute, or monetize these models in personal projects or outside ventures without explicit written permission from management. Unauthorized use may be subject to disciplinary action.
Exceptions exist only if an employee modifies the model in a meaningful way using professional 3D modeling software (such as Blender), creating a derivative work that is significantly different from the original. Even then, any distribution must be reviewed and approved to ensure it does not infringe on Blue Helm Studios’ copyrights.
The company strictly enforces its copyright policies to protect its assets, maintain creative integrity, and ensure fair use across all projects. If there is any uncertainty about ownership rights or permitted use, employees should consult their manager or the legal department before taking action.
