Role Overview
As a Website Developer at Company, you will design, build, and maintain high-performance web properties — from our careers site and job application flows to marketing landing pages, product microsites, and internal tools. You’ll write clean, maintainable code, optimize for speed and accessibility, integrate with CMS/back-end systems, and collaborate with designers, marketers, and product teams to deliver pixel-perfect experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, SEO-friendly websites and landing pages using modern HTML/CSS/JS
- Build and maintain component libraries, design systems, and reusable UI patterns
- Implement interactive features (forms, animations, dynamic content, job filters)
- Optimize performance (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scores, image/asset compression)
- Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA+, screen reader testing, keyboard navigation)
- Integrate with CMS (Webflow, WordPress, headless like Contentful/Strapi) & APIs
- Collaborate with designers on Figma-to-code handoff and motion/animation specs
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 3–6+ years web development experience building production websites
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (Tailwind/PostCSS), modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with React, Next.js, Gatsby, or similar modern frameworks
- Deep understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance
- Familiarity with accessibility tools & standards (axe DevTools, WAVE, Lighthouse)
- Comfort with Git, build tools (Vite, Webpack), and deployment (Vercel, Netlify, AWS)
- Good collaboration with designers & stakeholders (Figma, Zeplin, design tokens)
Nice-to-Have / Bonus Points
- Experience with full-stack development (Node.js, TypeScript, Supabase/Firebase)
- Knowledge of headless CMS, GraphQL, or Jamstack architectures
- Proficiency with motion libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP, Three.js for 3D web)
- Previous work on career/job portals, applicant tracking integrations, or marketing sites
- SEO & analytics experience (Google Analytics 4, Tag Manager, schema markup)
- Basic understanding of server-side rendering (SSR/SSG) and hydration strategies
- Experience with design systems implementation in code
- Interest in emerging web tech (WebGPU, WebAssembly, spatial web)
- Familiarity with testing (Cypress, Playwright, Jest) and CI/CD pipelines
