Role Overview
As a Game Producer at Company, you will drive the successful delivery of game features, updates, and titles from planning through launch and live operations. You’ll partner with designers, engineers, artists, animators, QA, and marketing to manage scope, risk, timelines, and quality — keeping the team focused and the product on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Own production planning: milestones, roadmaps, sprint commitments, and release schedules
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retros, and cross-team syncs
- Track progress, identify blockers, manage dependencies, and escalate risks
- Coordinate between creative (design/art) and technical (engineering/QA) teams
- Run playtests, bug bashes, and post-launch retrospectives
- Manage live ops cadence: patches, events, seasonal content, and hotfixes
- Partner with leadership on scoping, prioritization, and resource allocation
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in Luau (Roblox Lua)
- Experience scripting in Roblox Studio (UI, gameplay systems, events)
- Understanding of game mechanics, player interaction, and basic game design
- Familiarity with RemoteEvents, RemoteFunctions, and client-server architecture
- Basic knowledge of data structures and scripting best practices
- Ability to debug scripts and fix in-game issues
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
Nice-to-Have / Bonus Points
- Experience with live-service games (seasonal content, events, monetization cadence)
- Background in mobile/free-to-play or cross-platform production
- Familiarity with production tools beyond Jira (Hansoft, ShotGrid, HacknPlan, etc.)
- Knowledge of certification processes (console, storefront, age ratings)
- Experience managing external partners (outsourcing, co-dev, marketing agencies)
- Understanding of game design principles to speak credibly with designers
- Previous work in AR/VR, cloud gaming, or emerging interactive formats
- Comfort with financial tracking (budgets, burn rates, forecasting)
- Experience mentoring associate producers or production coordinators
