Our Hiring Process
We want all applicants to understand exactly how we review applications, conduct interviews, and onboard interns—whether in our regular or Accessible Internship Program (AIP).
Step 1: Application Submission
Submit your application via our internship listings. Anyone with disabilities, including ADHD or learning differences, can apply for regular internships—but your card won’t show it, and you’ll receive less accommodations. Our Accessible Internship Program provides extra support, more slack, and understanding managers (sometimes with disabilities themselves).
Step 2: Resume & Portfolio Review
All applications are reviewed carefully. Accessible program applicants receive patient, thorough consideration. Regular program applicants with disabilities are still welcome but may not receive the same level of accommodations.
Step 3: Interview Stage
Interviews are conducted remotely or in-person. Accessible program candidates can request flexible schedules, alternative formats, or extra time. Regular program candidates follow standard interview procedures.
Step 4: Assessment / Test
Some positions require a skills assessment or project. Accessible interns can request adjusted deadlines or alternative formats. Standard interns follow regular testing rules.
Step 5: Offer & Onboarding
Selected applicants are offered a position. Accessible program interns receive a more flexible onboarding experience, with patient managers and guidance. Standard interns receive the normal onboarding process.
Step 6: Mentorship & Support
All interns receive mentorship, but Accessible Internship Program participants benefit from extra support tailored to their needs, including patient feedback, accommodations, and understanding managers.
