We've got a pretty big update to share with everyone.
The Blue Helm Studios Admin Employee Dashboard is officially getting a major revamp.
If you've used the dashboard before, you'll probably know exactly why we're doing this. Our current dashboard is fully up to date and has continued to receive updates, but we've heard the same feedback from multiple employees: it's difficult to navigate.
Finding the right page, locating a specific tool, or figuring out where something belongs can sometimes take more time than it should. That's not what an employee dashboard should feel like.
Make the things you use every day easier to find, easier to understand, and significantly easier to navigate.
From Duralux to Phoenix
Our current employee dashboard is built around Duralux. Duralux has been an important part of the dashboard and has provided the foundation we've used for our current employee tools.
But rather than continuing to modify the existing interface piece by piece, we've decided to take a much bigger approach.
We're moving the dashboard over to Phoenix.
Here's What the Current Dashboard Looks Like
The existing dashboard isn't outdated. In fact, the current version is completely up to date with the tools and systems currently available to employees.
The problem is the experience.
As more systems and employee tools were added over time, the dashboard gradually became harder to navigate. Things were added where they made sense at the time, but the overall structure became increasingly difficult to understand.
Why Are We Changing It?
We've received feedback from multiple employees who have expressed frustration with finding things inside the current dashboard.
When you're working on something, you shouldn't have to stop and think, "Where did they put that?"
An employee dashboard should help you get your work done. It shouldn't become another thing you have to figure out.
That's why this redesign is being approached differently.
We're not just changing the colors. We're not just replacing a few cards. We're rebuilding the experience around navigation, organization, discoverability, and usability.
Enter Ecrerproate
The new dashboard isn't being built in isolation.
It's being built alongside our newer backend infrastructure: Ecrerproate.
Ecrerproate is the backend server and infrastructure powering the systems behind the new employee platform. The dashboard will be designed to work directly with this newer foundation, giving us significantly more room to expand and improve employee tools.
And we're not stopping at the original Ecrerproate release.
Welcome to Ecrerproate V3
Ecrerproate V3 is the newest version of our backend platform and represents a significant expansion of what our employee systems can support.
The new employee dashboard is being designed with Ecrerproate V3 in mind from the beginning. This means we're no longer limited to simply making the existing dashboard look nicer.
We can rethink how information is handled, how employee tools communicate with the backend, and how different parts of the platform work together.
In other words, this is both a frontend revamp and a major step forward for the infrastructure behind it.
So... What's Actually New?
Quite a lot.
Phoenix gives us the opportunity to completely rethink the structure of the employee dashboard. Instead of adding another tool to an already complicated navigation system, new features can be organized into a structure that makes sense from the start.

The new dashboard isn't supposed to look like the old one.
We're taking this opportunity to completely refresh the interface and make Phoenix feel like its own platform rather than a reskinned version of Duralux.
The goal is a dashboard where an employee can open it and immediately understand where they need to go.
Built for Employees
Even though this announcement is public, the dashboard itself is primarily designed for one group of people: our employees.
Every decision we're making with Phoenix comes back to the people who actually have to use the platform.
If a feature looks good but takes five clicks to find, that's a problem.
If a tool exists but employees don't know where to find it, that's a problem.
If the navigation makes sense to the person who built the system but not to the person using it every day, that's a problem too.
Phoenix is being designed to solve those problems.

We heard you.
The feedback about navigation and finding things wasn't ignored. It's one of the biggest reasons we're doing this revamp in the first place.
The new dashboard is being built to make your experience easier, faster, and less frustrating.
This Isn't Just a Template Change
It's important to emphasize just how large this project actually is.
Moving from Duralux to Phoenix is only one part of the change. Behind the interface, we're also moving toward the newest generation of our backend infrastructure with Ecrerproate V3.
That means the project involves the dashboard itself, its navigation, its employee tools, its backend connections, its organization, and the foundation we'll use for future features.
It's a giant project, and it's being treated as one.
More Features, More Possibilities
One of the biggest advantages of rebuilding the platform is that we aren't designing it only for what exists today.
We're also thinking about what employees will need tomorrow.
Ecrerproate V3 gives us a newer foundation to build on, while Phoenix gives us a cleaner interface to expose those systems to employees.
That means future employee tools can be integrated into the platform without necessarily making navigation more complicated every time something new is introduced.
What Happens to Duralux?
The current Duralux dashboard will remain the active employee dashboard while the new platform is being developed and prepared.
We don't want to rush the transition. The new system needs to be ready, tested, and usable before it becomes the primary employee platform.
Until then, the current dashboard remains the place employees should continue using for their existing workflows.
What's Next?
Development of the Phoenix dashboard and Ecrerproate V3 integration will continue as the different parts of the platform are completed.
As development progresses, we'll be able to share more screenshots, feature previews, and information about what's changing.
Some parts of the dashboard may change several times during development. That's expected. We're building something substantially larger than the current system, and we want to make sure it actually works well before calling it finished.
A new chapter for the employee platform.
Duralux has been the foundation of our current employee dashboard. Phoenix is the next step. With Ecrerproate V3 behind it, we're building a significantly larger, cleaner, and more capable employee platform for Blue Helm Studios.
