Orders ship within 2 business days of purchase. Standard shipping typically arrives in 5-7 business days after that, and expedited options are available at checkout if you need a game sooner.

Currently, we only ship around Canada and a couple states. We do have plans on going fully international soon!

Every BoardBook ships in a protective slipcase inside a plain outer box, so the hardcover stays crisp and corner-free without needing extra padding or wrapping.

If your order hasn't shipped yet, contact us right away and we'll update it for you. Once a tracking number has been issued, we're no longer able to redirect the package ourselves, though most carriers allow you to reroute a shipment directly.

You can add a handwritten gift note at checkout at no extra cost. We don't offer traditional gift wrap, since the slipcase packaging already ships giftable, but we're happy to leave the price off the packing slip.

Each game is bound in a cloth-wrapped hardcover with a reinforced spine, similar to a printed hardback novel. The board unfolds from the inside pages, and components like cards, tokens, and dice tuck into fitted trays built into the back cover.

The fold-out board pages use reinforced hinge binding rated for thousands of open-and-close cycles, and nothing is torn out or consumed during play, so the book keeps its shape session after session.

No, the color options on a product page only change the cover cloth and foil-stamped title. The rules, board, and components inside are identical across every color.

Collector's Editions add upgraded components such as foil-stamped or leather-bound covers, metal tokens, and a numbered print plate, and are produced in limited runs. Gameplay itself is the same as the standard edition.

Yes. Reach out through our contact page with your order number and the missing piece, and we'll send a replacement from spare stock, usually at no charge for the first request.

The rulebook is printed on the first several pages of every BoardBook itself, so there's no separate booklet to lose. A digital copy is also linked on each product page under the Product Info tab.

It depends on the title. Our legacy-style story games are designed for one playthrough per copy, while most of our Strategy and Family lines are fully replayable and don't consume or alter any components.

Recommended ages are listed in the Product Info tab of every game, and range from 8+ for our Family and Party titles up to 12+ or 14+ for denser Strategy and Collector's Edition games.

The player counts listed are what we've playtested and recommend, but most titles scale reasonably a person or two outside that range. Check the rulebook's variant notes for suggested adjustments.

Unopened games can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Opened games are eligible for a refund only if a component is missing or defective. Full details are on our Refund Policy page.

Contact us within 14 days with a photo of the damage and your order number, and we'll send a free replacement or a full refund, whichever you'd prefer. There's no need to ship the damaged copy back.

Yes, unopened games can be exchanged for a different title within 30 days. If there's a price difference, we'll either charge or refund the difference at checkout for the exchange.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method as soon as we receive or confirm your return, and typically show up within 5-10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

Collector's Editions can be returned unopened within 30 days like any other title. Because they're produced in limited numbered runs, opened Collector's Editions can only be returned if a component arrived defective.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, along with Apple Pay and Google Pay at checkout. All payments are processed securely and we never store your full card number.

No, checkout is available as a guest. Creating a free account just lets you track orders and save your shipping details for next time.

You'll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships. If you checked out as a guest and can't find the email, contact us with your order number and we'll resend it.

Orders can be canceled for a full refund as long as they haven't shipped yet. Reach out as soon as possible, since orders often ship within hours of being placed.

Yes. All transactions run through an encrypted, PCI-compliant payment processor, and our staff never has access to your full card details at any point in the process.
