A Cluttered Closet And A Bad Idea
BoardBooks.Store began with a simple complaint: great games come in ugly boxes. Ours were stacked in a closet, forgotten between game nights, taking up space we wanted for something nicer.
We started sketching what a board game would look like if it were designed first as an object worth displaying, and second as something worth playing. The book format won almost immediately — it's compact, it's durable, and it belongs in plain sight.
